Michael serves as Outside General Counsel to LOB and its core brand, Soleum, advising leadership on complex legal, regulatory, and strategic matters. His work focuses on ensuring organizational compliance, and advancing initiatives that develop integrated intelligence infrastructure connecting data, relationships, and decision-making across mission-driven institutions.

Michael began his legal career in New Jersey, representing clients in criminal defense, civil rights litigation, and complex civil matters across administrative, municipal, state, and federal courts. His early trial and litigation experience informs his practical, risk-aware approach to counseling companies and executive teams.

In addition to his role with LOB, Michael serves on the Advisory Board of Templar Titan, a global risk management and security firm founded by a former U.S. Navy SEAL; and on the Board of the Heph Foundation, which empowers students through collaborative STEM/STEAM programs.

For more than 12 years, Michael consulted with SSP Blue on online safety, security, and privacy matters affecting corporations, governments, and individuals, including independent assessments of human rights, privacy, freedom of expression, and digital safety practices. He previously served as President of the nPLAY Foundation, where he led national coalition-building initiatives supported by high profile athletes from many different sports to promote childhood health, physical activity, and nutrition.

Michael earned his J.D. from New York Law School and served as Law Clerk to the Honorable John S. Triarsi of the Superior Court of New Jersey. He holds a bachelor’s degree in History from The George Washington University.
