Spencer Higgins

Spencer is a transactional attorney currently serving as General Counsel for the sports tech company Infinite Athlete, Inc. He specializes in corporate transactions, mergers & acquisitions, tax (international, federal, and state & local), and cross border business planning.

Prior to joining Infinite Athlete, Spencer was an associate at boutique law firm Teeple Hall, LLP where he supervised the firm’s tax, corporate, and international practice groups. Before Teeple Hall, he spent several years working for PwC where he worked in the M&A Tax and US State & Local Tax groups managing complex transactions for private equity and public company clients.

Spencer earned a B.A. in Political Science (International Relations) and a minor in Economics from University of California, Davis, a Juris Doctor from Thomas Jefferson School of Law (Certificate in Global Legal Studies), and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Taxation from University of San Diego School of Law.

Outside of his professional practice, Spencer is active in several local, regional, and international organizations, including the California Bar Association, the San Diego County Bar Association, and the Association of Corporate Counsel. He currently serves on the US Association of Blind Athletes – Ethics & Judicial Committee and is a member of the Autism Society San DIego – Autism Innovation Lab Advisory Committee.
